
Coburg is the only community in District 5 that is along the mainstem of the Willamette River. It is also the most northern of the communities along the I-5 and Highway 99 corridor; the others are further south, along the Coast Fork of the Willamette: Cottage Grove, Creswell, Goshen, London, and Saginaw.
Row River Road follows the Row River from its juncture with the Coast Fork Willamette and includes the communities of Culp Creek, Disston, and Dorena.
Highway 58 follows the Middle Fork of the Willamette and includes the communities of Dexter, Fall Creek, Jasper, Lowell, Oakridge, Pleasant Hill, Trent, and Westfir.
Highway 126 follows the McKenzie River from its confluence with the Willamette River, just north of the Willamette's beginning at the joining of the Coast Fork and Middle Fork. The District 5 communities along the McKenzie are Blue River, Deerhorn, Leaburg, McKenzie Bridge, Nimrod, Rainbow, Vida, and Walterville.
Marcola Road follows the Mohawk River, which is the largest tributary of the McKenzie, and connects the communities of Mabel, Marcola, and Wendling.
