Dr. Bob Zybach is a 6th generation Oregonian, descended from 1851 and 1852 Oregon Trail Pioneers. He has a PhD in wildfire research from OSU and was a successful reforestation contractor for over 20 years in Lincoln County.
Bob has authored six books and hundreds of articles and editorials on these topics. Dr. Zybach is also a co-founder of ORWW, an educational non-profit that has worked with hundreds of Oregon students and teachers since 1996. His son, grandson, and two favorite great-grandkids are also lifelong Oregon residents.
Bob is currently a forest scientist and educator residing in Creswell, Oregon, and a first-time candidate for Lane County Commissioner, District 5.
