Dr. Bob Zybach is a 6th generation Oregonian, descended from 1851 and 1852 Oregon Trail Pioneers. He has a PhD in wildfire research from OSU, was a successful reforestation contractor for more than 20 years in Lincoln County and has written six books and hundreds of articles and editorials on these topics. He is co-founder of ORWW, an educational non-profit that has worked with hundreds of Oregon students and teachers since 1996. Dr. Zybach's son, grandson, and two favorite great-grandkids are also lifelong Oregon residents.
